Herbicides
SATAVAR
2,4-D Amine Salt 58% SL is a selective systemic herbicide primarily used to control broadleaf weeds in various crops. It is effective in managing weeds in crops like cereals, rice, corn, and turfgrass, as well as in non-crop areas.
How it works
2,4-D Amine Salt is a synthetic auxin (plant hormone) that mimics natural plant hormones. When absorbed by the plant, it disrupts the plant’s growth regulation, causing abnormal growth and eventual death. It selectively targets broadleaf weeds while being less toxic to grasses, making it useful for crop management without harming the desired grasses or crops.
Uses
2,4-D Amine Salt 58% SL is used to control a variety of broadleaf weeds, such as:
Dandelions, thistles, pigweed, bindweed, and clover.
It is commonly applied in cereal crops (wheat, barley), rice, corn, and turfgrass to protect the crop from weed competition.
Also effective for use in pastures, meadows, and non-crop areas like roadsides and industrial areas.
Packaging
SATAVAR is available in pack sizes of 1 L, 500 ml, and 250 ml.
