TEMBER

Tembotrione 34.4% SC is a selective, post-emergence herbicide used to control broadleaf weeds and grassy weeds in maize crops. It is highly effective in providing long-lasting control, ensuring better crop growth and yield.

How it works

Tembotrione belongs to the triketone class of herbicides and works by inhibiting the 4-Hydroxyphenylpyruvate Dioxygenase (HPPD) enzyme. This enzyme is essential for carotenoid biosynthesis, which protects chlorophyll in plants. Its inhibition leads to chlorophyll breakdown, causing bleaching and death of weeds. Tembotrione is absorbed by the foliage and translocated throughout the weed, ensuring complete control.

Uses

Tembotrione 34.4% SC is used for:

Post-emergence control of a wide range of weeds, including:

Broadleaf weeds like amaranthus, lambsquarters, and pigweed.

Grassy weeds such as barnyard grass, foxtail, and crabgrass.

Specifically designed for use in maize crops to minimize weed competition and enhance productivity.

Effective even on difficult-to-control weeds, ensuring a clean field during the crop’s critical growth stages.
