How it works

Abamectin 1.9% EC is a contact and stomach poison that disrupts the nervous system of pests. It binds to chloride channels in the pests’ nerve cells, causing an influx of chloride ions and hyperpolarization of the cell membrane. This results in paralysis and death of the pest.

Uses

Abamectin 1.9% EC can be used to treat mites and leaf miners, and it is said to protect the major parasites as well as some predatory mites.
