MOHAR
Herbicides
MOHAR
Metribuzin 70% WP is a selective herbicide used to control broadleaf and grassy weeds in a variety of crops. It is particularly effective in managing weeds in crops like potatoes, tomatoes, soybeans, and peanuts.
How it works
Metribuzin is absorbed by the roots and leaves of plants and works by inhibiting photosynthesis in the target weeds. It blocks the electron transport chain in the chloroplasts, preventing the production of energy needed for growth. This disruption leads to the rapid death of the weed. Metribuzin is effective both as a pre-emergence and post-emergence treatment for weed control.
Uses
Metribuzin 70% WP is commonly used to control a wide range of weeds, including:
Broadleaf weeds such as pigweed, lambsquarters, and common purslane.
Grassy weeds like crabgrass and foxtail.
It is primarily used in crops like potatoes, tomatoes, soybeans, and peanuts for weed management.
Can also be applied in non-crop areas like roadsides and industrial sites.
Packaging
MOHAR is available in pack sizes of 1 kg and 500 g .
