PARAZEE
Paraquat Dichloride 24% SL is a fast-acting, non-selective, contact herbicide widely used for controlling a broad spectrum of weeds and grasses. It is ideal for pre-planting, intercropping, and post-harvest weed management in agricultural and non-crop areas.
How it works
Paraquat Dichloride works by disrupting photosynthesis in plants. Once applied, it penetrates the plant tissues and produces reactive oxygen species (ROS) that cause cellular damage. This leads to the desiccation and death of the weeds within hours. Since it is a contact herbicide, it only affects the parts of the plant it comes into contact with, leaving the roots intact.
Uses
Paraquat Dichloride 24% SL is effective for:
Controlling annual grasses, broadleaf weeds, and certain perennial weeds in crops like rice, maize, sugarcane, and cotton.
Pre-planting weed management to prepare fields for sowing.
Inter-row weed control in orchards, plantations, and vineyards.
Post-harvest weed control in stubble fields.
Also suitable for non-crop areas such as roadsides, industrial sites, and railway tracks.
Packaging
PARAZEE is available in pack sizes of 1 L, 500 ml, and 250 ml.
