PHOINIX
Insecticides
PHOINIX
Thiamethoxam 12.6% + Lambda-Cyhalothrin 9.5% ZC is a powerful insecticide combination that offers broad-spectrum control of various pests in a wide range of crops, providing both systemic and contact activity.
How it works
Thiamethoxam (12.6%): A systemic neonicotinoid that works by blocking the nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the pest’s nervous system, causing paralysis and death. It is absorbed by plant tissues and provides long-lasting protection against a range of sucking and soil pests.
Lambda-Cyhalothrin (9.5%): A pyrethroid insecticide that targets the sodium channels in the insect’s nervous system, causing hyperexcitation of nerve cells, paralysis, and eventual death. It provides quick knockdown and residual control of pests.
The combination of Thiamethoxam and Lambda-Cyhalothrin works effectively through both systemic absorption and contact action, making it suitable for controlling pests at different stages of their life cycle.
Uses
This formulation is highly effective against a wide range of pests, including aphids, whiteflies, caterpillars, and other insects in crops such as cotton, maize, vegetables, fruits, and ornamentals.
