STAR STORM
Fungicides
STAR STORM
Azoxystrobin 11% + Tebuconazole 18.3% SC is a combined fungicide formulation offering broad-spectrum protection against a wide range of fungal diseases. It is formulated to provide both preventive and curative action, making it highly effective in managing diseases in various crops.
How it works
Azoxystrobin (11%): A systemic fungicide from the strobilurin class, Azoxystrobin works by inhibiting mitochondrial respiration in fungi. This blocks energy production, preventing the fungus from growing and spreading.
Tebuconazole (18.3%): A triazole fungicide that interferes with the synthesis of ergosterol, a crucial component of fungal cell membranes. This disrupts fungal growth, providing control over the pathogen.
Together, Azoxystrobin and Tebuconazole provide a synergistic effect, ensuring both protective and curative action on the targeted diseases.
Uses
This combination is effective against a broad range of fungal diseases, including:
Powdery mildew, leaf spot, blight, rust, and downy mildew in crops such as wheat, rice, maize, fruits, vegetables, and grapes.
Scab, brown rot, and fungal fruit diseases in orchards and vineyards.
It helps improve crop quality, increase yield, and extend the shelf life of harvested produce.
Packaging
STAR STORM is available in pack sizes of 1 L, 500 ml, and 250 ml.
