VELTIN
Validamycin 3% L is a systemic antibiotic used to control bacterial diseases in various agricultural crops. It is especially effective against certain fungal and bacterial pathogens, providing both preventive and curative action.
How it works
Validamycin 3% L works by inhibiting the synthesis of chitin, a vital component of fungal cell walls, and by interfering with the biosynthesis of key bacterial enzymes. This disrupts the growth and spread of fungal and bacterial pathogens, effectively controlling their development. It is absorbed by the plant and moves systemically to provide internal protection.
Uses
Validamycin 3% L is particularly effective against diseases caused by bacteria such as bacterial wilt, bacterial blight, and root rot, as well as some fungal diseases. It is used in crops like rice, vegetables, fruits, and ornamentals, especially to manage soil-borne pathogens and protect plants during key growth stages.
Packaging
VELTIN is available in pack sizes of 1 L, 500 ml, and 250 ml.
