ZEEMATE
Insecticides
ZEEMATE
Dimethoate 30% EC is a broad-spectrum systemic insecticide widely used for controlling a variety of sucking and chewing pests in agricultural crops. Its quick action and long residual effect make it a preferred choice for pest management.
How it works
Dimethoate is an organophosphate insecticide that inhibits the enzyme acetylcholinesterase in pests, disrupting their nervous system. This leads to paralysis and eventual death. Being systemic, Dimethoate is absorbed by the plant and translocated, protecting new growth and ensuring control of pests feeding on plant sap.
Uses
Dimethoate 30% EC is effective against pests such as aphids, whiteflies, thrips, mites, jassids, and leafhoppers. It is commonly used in crops like cotton, vegetables, fruits, tea, coffee, and oilseeds to manage infestations and protect yields. It also helps in controlling secondary infections caused by pest damage.
Packaging
ZEEMATE is available in pack sizes of 1 L, 500 ml, and 250 ml.
